Ophthalmoscope

Ophthalmoscopy (funduscopy or fundoscopy) is a test that allows a healthcare professional to see the inside of the fundus and other structures in the eye using an ophthalmoscope (or fundusoscope). It is done as part of an eye exam and may also be done as part of a routine physical exam. It is important in determining the health of the retina and vitreous.
