Bone Graft Granule

The graft is composed of natural low-crystalline hydroxyapatite combined with collagen. It is available in various forms, including granules, dowels, and blocks. The shape of the graft can be modified using tools such as the Gigli saw and bone nibblers. Traditional bone grafting typically involves the use of autologous bone harvested from the iliac crest, which remains the gold standard. However, this method requires an additional surgical procedure, results in longer operating times, and can cause more trauma to the patient. Furthermore, the donor site often becomes painful following the treatment.
