Surgical Lensometer

A lens gauge is a device used to read the prescription of spectacle lenses or rigid contact lenses. Although there are auto lens meters that work very well and are very convenient, a manual lens meter should always be available in case the auto lens meter does not work. Every eye care assistant and technician should know how to use a manual lens gauge to read a pair of glasses.
